Rebecca is an excellent tutor and helped our son bring his standard of English to the level required by some of the top independent schools. Where our son didn’t enjoy his sessions with his previous tutor he was actually looking forward to tuitions with Rebecca.

“It’s been a real pleasure having you teach Alex. You have really made him think about his own abilities and through you he has now realised that this is something he can actually do well! You have a lovely and calm manner and I know that Alex has found real value in what you have taught him.”

Rebecca is a life saver! My son disliked English and dreaded doing work for it before we found Rebecca. It was not pleasant being a parent seeing my son in that situation. Now he actually enjoys English and is taking his GCSE’s this summer.

We are confident that he will do a great job - his predicted grade has gone up by three levels! It has shown me that with the right person a lot can change. With all this in mind I would unreservedly recommend Rebecca to anyone who needs assistance with English or any essay based subject.

We will now be working with her for interview technique and essay structuring for my son's A levels. She is a brilliant, dedicated tutor and my son would not be where he is today without her!”

Dear Rebecca,

I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we appreciate all you’ve done for our daughter, Miri. Every session with you she has learnt something new, and has come away with more confidence and more tools than before. As a dyslexic student, she found both English language and literature a very daunting challenge just a few months ago, but with your patient help and skilful guidance she has made tremendous progress. She herself can feel what strides she has made, and she has not only become more able and more confident, she has also started to enjoy the subject in a way that was unthinkable previously!

Most of all we appreciate the fact that you clearly think about her in between the lessons, and prepare in a way that is specific to her and her needs. We are deeply grateful for your holistic approach to teaching, and we know you have made a difference to Miri that will go way beyond the GCSE stage. Thank you.

All very best wishes,

Jenny Goodman.”

"My husband and I have found Rebecca to be an amazing tutor. She is friendly, reliable and has always arrived punctually for each tutoring session. Rebecca is extremely dedicated and well organised, planning each tutoring session in-depth, thus supporting our son well in his English/English Literature GCSE studies.

We would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a GCSE or A Level tutor as we have found her to be excellent in all regards."

“During my time at school I’ve had a lot of English teachers but none of them were able to help me in the way and to the extent that Rebecca did. Rebecca is such a nice person and she was there for me every time I needed her. I am strong at maths but struggled with my English until I met her. She helped me articulate my ideas really effectively in my personal statement so my passion for Economics could shine through. As a result of her advice and assistance - I’ve got offers at all five of my University choices!!”

“We are incredibly grateful to you Rebecca. In a short period of time you have made it fun, given her confidence and helped with the results. Thank you ever so much!”

“I highly recommend getting Rebecca on board for helping team members in the work place who are struggling with work load and written copy. Rebecca’s focus on strategies rather than deadlines helped a couple of my staff members who hadn’t got to grips with how we were operating. Having an outside problem solver who I could speak to transparently was invaluable. I really can’t thank her enough”.

I had been out of work for awhile and was really struggling to write strong covering letters. I’m more of a science person and with the competitive nature of jobs these days I wasn’t getting interviews. Rebecca had been working with my daughter and I could see how her English had improved so I thought she could help. I was a bit nervous of asking her as a big part of me felt like I should just be able to do it alone but I’m so happy I did.

Working with Rebecca actually made me more confident because she showed me how qualified I actually was. She was amazing at getting me to get down all my credentials and ideas properly in writing in a way that was impressive. Not only did she get me two interviews, I am also now working in a great job doing I.T. at a charity. I’m not ashamed to say I couldn’t have jumped through those application hurdles without her.”

“Thank you so much. It was so nice having you as an English tutor. I never used to be able to do English and you have really helped me. I know I wouldn’t have done well without your help and I appreciate it so much. I was always put down by English teachers who predicted me C’s. I could never imagine getting an A before so credits to you for all the help!”

— Emilia Mallucci ( English IGCSE Student)
